Sensitive Skin

When you have perennially problematic skin, you can’t always afford to “test drive” products to find what works. That’s why we’ve created a superior edit of the finest formulas to calm, clear and hydrate. Protecting the skin barrier is key to reducing sensitivity issues. Just remember, don't go overboard with products and approach any new additions with caution.

When introducing a new product to your routine, always start slowly. You might want to reduce the frequency of use first as well. Be very careful when adding in products with 'active ingredients' such as Glycolics or Retinols and try them on your inner arm for a few nights first and then a 2 Euro coin size on your outer cheek for a few nights before spreading all over your face. You might find you can tolerate them 2 nights a week instead of 6/7 and that's just fine.

I also find that rotating skin care products builds up tolerance and reduces sensitivity rather than using the same products every night. Avoid perfumed products if you're sensitive to scents. Once you find a winning combination that improves your skin's appearance, don't be tempted to try out every new fad - if it's not broken, don't fix it !
